12 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, Mar 31:  Twelve persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said seven passengers who were travelling in a Sumo JK09/1028, were injured when it turned upside down after hitting a cow at Matipora, Drugmulla in Kupwara district.
All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment, the spokesman said.
A Maruti car, JK01K/4045, hit and injured a pedestrian, Tawseef Ahmed Khan son of Farooq Ahmed Khan of Gurveth at Gurveth in Khansahib, Budgam.
The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, the spokesman said.
An Auto driven by Abdul Rehman son of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie of Ashmuji Kulgam, hit an unknown vehicle at SKAUST Khudwani in Kulgam district, resulting in injuries to the driver and two passengers, Gul Mohammad Bhat son of Mohammad Abdullah and Irshma Akther daughter of Mohammad Ashraf Naikoo of Baan, he said.
Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
A motorcycle, JK05/5384, hit and injured a pedestrian, Khazir Mohammad Bhat son of Mohammad Sultan of Edipora at Bomie Chowk in Sopore.
The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sopore for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
