UDHAMPUR, Feb 7: Police rescued 12 bovine animals and arrested a person.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Udhampur police station laid a naka at Jakhani and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK08C-4317.
During checking, police rescued 12 bovine animals and arrested the driver of the vehicle, who has been identified as Shamsh Din, son of Mohammad Shafi, a resident of District Reasi.
A case under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at police station Udhampur and investigation started.
