12 bovines rescued, 4 held

JAMMU, July 3: Police rescued 12 bovine animals and arrested four persons from Bantalab area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nagrota police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Nagrota police station laid a naka at Bantalab and intercepted truck (JK02AC-9811) and Tata Mobile (JK19-1846).
During checking, police rescued 12 bovine animals and arrested four smugglers, who have been identified as Mashooq Ali, son of Allah Lok of Ragoora, Mohammad Akram, son of Mohammad Qazi of Miran Sahib, Abdul Rashid, son of Ghulam Nabi of Ramban and Junaid Ahmed, son of Mohammad Hussain of Khanpur Nagrota.
A case under FIR number 134/15 under Section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at Nagrota police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota police station Inspector Dalip Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
