RAMBAN, Oct 22: Batote police seized 110 kilograms of poppy straw from the bushes.
As per police sources, during patrolling, a team from Batote Police Station seized 110 kilograms of poppy straw from the bushes near Amar Chashma on Batote-Patnitop road.
The consignment was seized in presence of Magistrate.
A case under FIR Number 116/18 under section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at Batote Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Batote Inspector Nazir Ahmed seized the consignment under supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Asgar Malik, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Anita Sharma.
