11 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized

JAMMU, Apr 14: Eleven vehicles involved in illegal mining were seized from different areas falling under the jurisdiction of Satwari Police Station.
As per police sources, continuing its drive against illegal mining, a massive action has been taken by police teams of Police Station Satwari which were constituted under the supervision of SDPO South PK Mengi.
The team led by SHO Satwari Inspector Nishant Gupta and assisted by Incharges of Police Posts Chatha, Gadigarh and Phallain Mandal laid special nakas at various points.
During checking, 11 different vehicles were seized which were involved in illegal mining. The vehicles seized included 2 tippers and 9 tractor trolleys.
The mining was done in violation of order of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir.
In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law, Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
