11 bovines rescued, 2 arrested

JAMMU, Feb 18: Jagti police rescued 11 bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police sources, a team from Jagti Police Post laid a naka at Panjgrain and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK02AF-9867.
During checking, police rescued 11 bovine animals and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Arshad Ahmed Khan (driver), son of Khan Mohammad and Mohammad Iqbal, son of Abdul Rashid, both residents of Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 23/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
