KISHTWAR, Aug 19: Over 10,000 pilgrims paid obeisance at Machail Mata temple in Padder, today.
As per official sources, 10945 pilgrims including 3885 males, 5947 females and 1113 children paid obeisance at Machail Mata temple.
Since commencement of the yatra, 83,919 pilgrims including 38,282 males, 31,526 females, 14,015 children and 96 sadhu had performed darshans at the holy shrine by travelling in 371 vehicles.
Meanwhile, the holy mace (chari mubarak) left from Kishtwar to Atholi Padder. Thousands of devotees are taking party in the yatra from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir and other States.
Tight security arrangements have been made by the administration. Vehicles of Police Party accompanied are accompanying the yatries.
Volunteers arranged langars, drinking water and other essential items en-route for devotees.
