102 kanal forest land retrieved in Bhaderwah

DODA, May 15: The team of officials from Bhaderwah Forest Division today launched an operation and retrieved nearly 102 kanals of forest land from Bhalessa area.
Official sources said that a team of officials led by DFO Bhaderwah T B Singh and assisted by Range Officer Azad Hussain launched operation in compartment No. 107 and 108 of Bhalessa Range and removed illegal encroachment on 102 kanals of forest land. Several persons including Sharzama, son of Ali Mohd, Nazir Ahmed, son of Mohd Sattar, Ali Goni, son of Abdul Ibrahim, Yog Raj, son of Hoshiyar Singh, Sham Lal, son of Munshi Ram had encroached upon this Government land for the last several years.
During operation the land grabbers resisted the forest action however, with the assistance of police and Forest Protection Force men, this operation was successfully accomplished. T B Singh claimed that in last one month nearly 200 kanals of forest land has been retrieved from the possession of land grabbers.
