KATHUA, Nov 21: Excise Department destroyed 1000 kilograms lahan and 30 bottles of illicit liquor.
As per official spokesman, under the supervision of the Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Mohammed Shahid Saleem, the Excise Team Kathua led by Arun Kumar, Inspector Excise under the command of Excise and Taxation Officer, Excise Range Kathua, Sandeep Gupta and Excise and Taxation Officer, Eradication and Enforcement Wing Jammu Suresh Sharma conducted raids in Jeerai and lower Saktachak areas of Kathua district.
During the raids, the sleuths of Excise Department recovered 1000 kilograms of lahan and 30 bottles of illicit liquor, which were later destroyed.
