100% voting: ABVP to start Rath Yatra

JAMMU, Apr 3: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) here today has decided to launch Rath Yatra throughout the State for all the parliamentary seats with the slogan of ‘Nation First, Voting Must’.
In a press conference here today State Secretary ABVP, Deepak Gupta said, this Rath Yatra will be held in two phases.
“In first phase the Yatra will be held at Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary seat and in second phase at Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Parliamentary seat,” he said.
Gupta informed that first phase of the Yatra will start on April 4 from Samba Chowk and after passing through all Assembly constituencies it will conclude at Poonch on April 9.
“Similarly in second phase, Yatra will start from Kathua and will conclude at Kishtwar,” he maintained.
‘Nation First, Voting Must’ poster was also launched on this occasion by Deepak Gupta along with State Girls Joint Convener, Naina Dogra and State Scholars Working Convener, Ramneek Sharma.
“ABVP has also taken many initiatives regarding voter awareness campaign to aware the voters in view of upcoming Parliamentary elections,” Gupta told reporters adding that ABVP has organized various seminars at different places on topics like-Strong Democracy, Empowered Bharat, Aspirations of Emerging Bharat and has also distributed pamphlets and pasting stickers among students in various campuses.
