UDHAMPUR, May 2:At least ten Government schools in different villages of Panchari block are without water supply connection thus forcing the students to face problem in getting drinking water during this scorching heat.
These Primary schools are in Gangari village Lali, Sankari, Nowara, Passar village Meer, Sunthal, village Damnote, Kharthal Chowsar, Junwal Kote, Chanjee, Upper Galiote, village Galiote, and Balda village Chulna.
Due to absence of water supply, these schools also lack the facility of toilet and preparing Mid-Day meal.
According to Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Panchari, Hans Raj, his office has already brought the matter into the notice of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur besides the PHE Department for necessary action in this regard.
