RAMBAN, May 2: A man drowned while taking bath in river Chenab at Karol area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramban police station.
As per police sources, a man identified as Kishore Bhagat (35), son of Shamu Bhagat, a resident of Sanasar Top had gone to take bath in river Chenab near Karol area, when he accidentally slipped and got drowned in river.
After getting information, police team and QRT rushed to the spot and started operation to fish out the body. However, the body was not traced-out till last reports were compiled.
Ramban police has taken cognizance in this regard.
