10 jawans injured as Army truck turns turtle

SAMBA, Sept 4: Ten jawans suffered injuries when an Army truck turned turtle in Ramgarh sector of Samba district here today.
According to the report, the condition of two of the injured is said to be critical. According to the information, the patrolling party of the Army’s Seven Jackrifal Regiment was going back to its barracks after patrolling the frontier areas and seeing the speeding vehicle coming in front on the road near the gas agency on Keso road, the army vehicle applied the break to avert the accident but it turned turtle resulting in the injury to ten jawans, two of them seriously.
The injured included Subedar, Deepak Rana and Monavwar Hussain, in-charge of the army team. All the injured jawans were rushed to nearby Government Hospital, Ramgarh for treatment. The doctors referred MH Satwari for better treatment after giving first aid to all the injured jawans.
The soldiers who were injured in this accident were identified as Subedar Deepak Rana, Naib Subedar Sarain Darnal, Surjit Rana, Nayak Surindra Kumar, Havildar Bal Bahadur, soldier T.A. Nikhil, Lance Naik Shashi Kumar, Munawwar Hussain, Nayak Rajindra Singh and Sanjay Kumar.
According to sources, the condition of patrol incharge, Subedar Deepak Rana and Monavwar Hussain is said to be critical among the military personnel referred to MH. Station in-charge of police station Ramgarh I P Singh reached the spot with his team.
