RAJOURI, Sept 22: Ten persons were injured when a Tata Sumo, in which they were travelling, met with an accident at Thannamandi near DKG.

The vehicle, beating registration number JK11-8884, was on way to Rajouri from Bufliaz when it skidded off the road and met with the accident near Maggi Morh in Thannamandi. After the accident, driver of vehicle fled away from the spot.
Locals and Police took the injured person to PHC Thannamandi from where six of them were referred to GMC Hospital Rajouri.
Those who were referred to GMC Rajouri, were identified as Abdul Rashid (52), son of Jaan Mohd of Dugrian, Mohd Akram (24), son of Mohd Arif of Bhangai, Manzoor Begum (64), wife of Lal Hussain of Hasplote, Perveen Akhter (45) wife of Fareed Hussain of Daraba, Naseeb Jaan (65), wife of Mohd Mukhtar of Gounthal Surankote and Gulzar Ahmed son of Hassan Mohd.
Those who were stable and treated at PHC Thannamandi, included Mohd Sadiq son of Mohd Ashraf of Daraba, Mohd Rafiq, son of Mohd Shafi of Daraba and Mohd Sadaq son of Jamal Din of Poonch.
