POONCH, Feb 2: At least ten persons were injured when a mini-bus skidded on the road in snowbound area of Mandi tehsil in district Poonch today.
Official sources said that mishap took place at Guntar Morh near Sunderi Nallah in Sawjian area during morning hours when the ill- fated vehicle No JK-12-1419 was on way to Mandi from Sawjian. The snowfall was going on in the area and the road was slippery.
The driver lost control and the vehicle was skidded and over turned on the road causing injuries to at least ten persons including driver and conductor. The injured were rescued by the locals and then shifted to Mandi Hospital. Two seriously injured were later removed to District Hospital, Poonch.
