POONCH, Dec 4: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Surankote, Afzal Mirza today placed several erring Government officials of Health, Education and Sheep Husbandry departments under suspension for their unauthorised absence from duty.
Official sources said that the SDM during surprise inspection in Medical Sub Centre Draba found FMPHW Balqees Akhter and Class IV worker Fazeela Akhter absent from duty. They were placed under suspension. FMPHW Shahida Parveen and Safaiwalla Mohd Qayoom Khan and Nursing Orderly Tahira Parveen were placed under suspension for unauthorized absence from duty at Medical Sub Centre Mastaan Dhara.
At Sheep Husbandry Centre, Behramgalla, the SDM found Flock Supervisor Imtiyaz Ahmed and ASM, Zameel Ahmed absent from duty. He placed them under suspension. In Government Middle School, Bonikhet teacher Aurangzeb and teacher Mohammad Yaqoob have been suspended for unauthorized absence. He also recommended suspension of Head Master of GMS, Bonikhet Shabir Ahmed to the Director School Education Jammu.
