SRINAGAR, Mar 11: A pedestrian was killed, while four others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a minibus, JK03C/4720, hit and injured a pedestrian, Zeba, wife of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh of Zadipora Khanabal at KP Road, Anantnag.
The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag where she succumbed to her injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said a Sumo, JK05B/9872, hit and injured a pedestrian Noor Hussain Shah, son of Qasim Ali Shah of Dari Muqam at Boniyar in district Baramulla. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla for treatment.
He said a Maruti, JK02Q/3588, hit and injured a pedestrian, Abdul Majeed Wagay, son of Abdul Aziz of Churrat at Gousia College in Qazigund, Kulgam. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
The spokesman said a Sumo, JK09/7571, turned turtle at Doniwari in Sogam, Kupwara, and two passengers were injured, who were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment.
