UDHAMPUR, May 17: One person was electrocuted and two others sustained severe electric shock after they came in contact with a live wire at village Jadsarkot in Tikri, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rehambal.
According to the reports, three neighbours, identified as Uttam Chand (45), son of Chandu Ram, Sohan Singh (28) son of Kapoor Singh and Jagdeep Singh (18), son of Chain Singh, residents of Jadsarkot, Tikri, Rehambal, accidently received electric shock while working in their field.
They were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared Uttam Chand as brought dead.
Other two are undergoing treatment at District Hospital Udhampur and Rehambal Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
