Srinagar, Mar 7: One person was killed, while 13 others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said Ghulam Hassan Bhat, son of Haji Zafar Bhat of Rationpora who was injured in an accident that took place on March 3 in Kupwara succumbed to his injuries today.
Six passengers were injured when a bus, JK01B/7586 skidded off the road near Kulangam in Handwara town in North Kashmir, the spokesman said.
He said the injured were shifted to Chogal Health Centre for treatment.
Six more passengers were injured when a bus, JK03/3941, hit an Auto, JK09/8559, at Drugmullah in Kupwara, the spokesman said, adding that the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment.
He said Farooq Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Assadullah of Tarathpora was shifted to SKIMS Soura.
In another accident, a Wagon R, HR261/2642, hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Akbar Dar, son of Munawar Dar of Sakipora near Kulangamand and he was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Handwara for treatment.
