Srinagar, Dec 22: One person died in a road accident in Leh, while three others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a Maruti car HR51C/9566 fell in a deep gorge near Ganglas in Leh, resulting in on spot death of its driver Padma Tundup.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01K /6845 hit and injured a pedestrian Haseena Ali of Nowgam Khag at Khag, Budgam. The injured was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
A Maruti Van PB02BT/5057 hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Gani Khanday of Dadwagam Kapran near Malpora Stop, Mirbazaar. The injured has been shifted to a hospital.
In another accident, a Wagon-R DL / 0500 hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Nabi Dar of Gassipora Wanpoh near railway crossing at Nowgam in Anantnag. The injured was shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases in these accidents.
