Zorawar releases Dogri album ‘Soraiy Nai Jaana’

JAMMU, Sept 19: Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today released Dogri video album “Soraiy Nai Jaana”, composed and sung by popular artist Naresh NB, during a function at Press Club, here today.
Renowned Dogri Singer, Surinder Singh Manhas was the guest of honor while Roshan Bral, President Dogri Bhasha Academy Jammu, Dr Susheel Jagotra, Sugam Bral, Chairman Jammu Diary, renowned singer Sonali Dogra, Sahil Lucky, Sanyam Pandoh and Aish K were the special guests during the function, organized under the banner of Apna Folk Studio.
While speaking on the occasion, Team Jammu chief Zorawar Singh appreciated the tireless working of young artists of Jammu, which is acting as a great boon in promoting Dogri language and culture not just in Jammu and Kashmir but in neighboring states like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Harayana and New Delhi. He informed the gathering that every volunteer of Team Jammu is under oath to promote mother tongue Dogri, art, culture and folk.
While appreciating young artists including Naresh NB, famous Dogri comedian, Kuldeep Hans, Shakuntla Devi and Piya Sharma for exhibiting their best performance in Dogri video album “Soraiy Nai Jaana”, Zorawar Singh also urged the Jammu and Kashmir UT administration to provide a platform in the shape of specific policy for local artists so that their talent, caliber and capacity could be showcased in rest of the country.
The other speakers also appreciated the working of Apna Folk Studio especially Naresh NB and his team for providing an opportunity to new comers and to display their talent besides promoting Dogri language.
Among others present on the occasion included Arun Sharma and Ajay J Sharma, Yash Paul Yash, Varsha Jamwal and Basant Viyogi. Monika Jamwal compeered the function and presented vote of thanks.
