NEW DELHI, July 16: Prices of zinc and nickel strengthened by up to Rs 3 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to pick up in demand from demand from consuming industries amid firming global trend.
Traders said increased demand from consuming industries and a firm global trend mainly led to rise in zinc and nickel prices.
In the national capital, zinc ingot strengthened by Re 1 to Rs 103-109, while nickel plate (4×4) went up by Rs 3 to Rs 860-865 per kg respectively.

Zinc ingot Rs 103-109, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 860-865, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 378, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 88, lead imported Rs 94, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. (PTI)
