RAJOURI, June 5: The Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Rajouri, has issued show-cause notices to the Heads of Institutions (HoIs) of 35 private schools for remaining absent from an important meeting convened to discuss the implementation of academic and administrative guidelines during Summer Vacation 2026.
The concerned institutions have been directed to submit their explanations within three days, failing which disciplinary action may be recommended as per rules.
According to the notice, meetings were held on June 4 and 5, 2026, at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Rajouri, for the heads of private Higher Secondary, High, Middle, and Primary Schools. The agenda included discussions on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), directives issued by higher authorities, and other important academic and administrative matters related to the summer vacation period.
The notice stated that despite being informed in advance, the heads of the concerned institutions neither attended the meeting nor provided any prior intimation or valid reason for their absence. The ZEO office has viewed this as disregard for official instructions, negligence of professional responsibilities, and lack of respect for administrative orders.
Notices have been issued to Delhi Public School, Lighthouse Public School, Rajouri Public School, Sunrising Public School, Taleem Girls School, Army Goodwill Public School, Christ School, Crescent Public High School, Doon International School, Dream Land Public School, Gharib Nawaz Public School, Modern Public School, Modern Educational Institute, National Academy, Shanti Niketan Public High School, Talib-ul-Uloom, Anand Bharti Vidyalaya, Guru Hargobind Public School, Gurukul Public School, Insha Education Mission, IPS Institute of Education, National Institute of Education, Paradise Education Mission, Sehar Education Mission, Tiny Tots Model Academy, Antique Education Mission School, Blessing Education Mission, Bright Life Public School, Global Institute of Education, GREF Academy, Gulshan Kazmi Public School, Hamdard Educational Institute, Israr Public School, Mount Litera Zee School, and Valley View Army Public School.
