JAMMU, Feb 20 : A deputation from Zanskar called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here today and presented him a memorandum of demands pertaining to the welfare and development of this remote and hilly backward area of the State.
The Chief Minister gave patient hearing and said that holistic development and economic welfare of backward and far-flung areas is receiving focused attention of the Government. He said the demands put forth by the deputation would be given due consideration.
