JAMMU, Mar 1: Amidst religious fervor and devotion, final Aastha Train, carrying 1375 devotees of Shree Ram, was flagged off from the Railway Station towards the Holy City Ayodhya here, today.
It was flagged off by senior BJP leaders including J&K BJP vice-presidents, Yudhvir Sethi (convenor of Ram Darshan Ayodhya Committee), Aseem Gupta (co-convenor) and ex Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta, former MLC, Charanjit Singh Khalsa and J&K BJP Media incharge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra.
Yudhvir Sethi and Aseem Gupta reviewed arrangements for the devotees travelling in the Aastha train, ensuring everything was in place for the seamless journey of the devotees. They said that Aastha train has testified the steadfast leadership of Narendra Modi and the commitment of his Government enduring faith of millions.
Yudhvir Sethi, while flagging off the train, said that it is heart warming to see the jubilant faces of hundreds of Shree Ram Bhakts together, who boarded the Astha train. He said that is just not another journey to a pilgrimage site, but a deep routed sensation of Aastha that got erupted after a wait of 500 years. He said that people, while boarding the train, engrossed in the Bhakti of Prabhu Shree Ram, were falling short of words in praise of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Government, which has made this day possible.
Aseem Gupta, on the occasion, said that the religious pilgrimage is just not a religious journey, but at the same time it fulfils the purpose of strengthening the bond between the two regions, two cultures and two places. He said that the Modi Government has been actively engaged in nurturing the feel of oneness among all Indians across the regions and religions.
All the BJP leaders wished happy journey to Shree Ram Bhakts and asked them to pray for the world peace and prosperity there.
