JAMMU, July 5: Youth Wing of JDA Housing Colony, Roop Nagar extended their full support and cooperation to Uttam Deep Sharma, president Roop Nagar JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association in his fight against the Government’s proposed move to convert Community Center into a Club on the behest of some vested elements in the Colony.
While extending their support, the Youth Wing of JDA Housing Colony Roop Nagar held protest and raised slogans against the JDA authorities alleging that despite repeated protests by the people of the area the authorities are hell bent to convert the Community Centre into a Club.
The protestors while warning against the opening of Club and wine shop said that it is being done on the behest of some miscreants who are always hell bent to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the Colony. They said the residents are up in arms against the move and they will fight to thwart any such design.
The youth present on the occasion were Mintu, Anuj, Manu, Rajesh Sharma, Vipin Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Vishal Choudhary, Abhishek Angurana, Ritesh Thappa, Vikram Singh Salathia, Parvez Ahmed, Mohammad Arshad, Rakesh Sharma, Amit, Dheeraj, Vikas Sharma, Pardeep, Kaant, Bhupesh Dubey, Randhir Singh, Akhilesh Verma, Deepu, Varun Gupta, Manu Mahajan, etc.
