Youth will carry forward Modi’s ‘New India’ mission: Dr Jitendra

NEW DELHI, Apr 3: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh said here today that it is the youth of this country who will carry forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “New India” mission.
In a nearly one hour long interaction with the students of the Department of Governance in Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune, Dr Jitendra Singh said, Modi has a futuristic vision for India and youth is the essential nuclear of his vision. He said, if all of us put our might together, it will not be difficult to realize Modi’s “New India” mission by the year 2022.
Describing India as a young nation with over 65% of population below the age of 40, Dr Jitendra Singh said, India is fully equipped to usher into a New India and was only waiting for an appropriate opportunity and an appropriate leadership which it has found in the form of Narendra Modi. He said, India after 2022, will not only be a role model for the rest of the world, but would also be a resource pool of youth energy and potential for even the most developed nations of the world.
The students, during their interaction, asked Dr Jitendra Singh questions about the measures taken by the Modi Government to improve governance. They also expressed inquisitiveness to know about the working of Prime Minister’s Office and the various working mechanisms operating in the PMO.
Some of the students were keen to know from Dr Jitendra Singh about his views regarding Jammu & Kashmir. They also asked questions about the situation on the borders and the plight of displaced Kashmiri Pandit community.
