UDHAMPUR, June 19: A Jammu youth sustained accidental bullet injury while cleansing the gun at his uncle’s house in Batote.
The youth, identified as Anwar Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed Bhatt of Gujjar Colony, Channi Jammu, sustained critical bullet injury in his shoulder and was rushed to hospital. Later, he was referred to District Hospital Udhampur in view of his serious condition.
Police have registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist and his pillion rider were injured after an unidentified car hit their bike near Rehmbal. The injured, identified as Gagan Kumar son of Bihari Lal of Ward number 4 near General Bus Stand and Rashpal Singh son of Prem Chand of Jandherh, have been admitted to District Hospital Udhampur.
