JAMMU, Nov 22: A 20-year-old youth succumbed to his injuries today on the way to Jammu from Amritsar.
“Mumtaz Ahmed (20) son of Khadam Hussain, resident of Kala Kupar (Nagrota) had received serious injuries on November 17 after a bike on which he was travelling, was hit by an unknown vehicle near Ban Toll Plaza. He had received serious injuries in the mishap after which his family members took him to a hospital in Amritsar”, a police official said.
He said the youth today succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital in Amritsar. “The body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem while Nagrota police has taken cognizance of fresh development in the case”, he added.
