Youth Skills Day celebrated

JAMMU, July 15: World Youth Skills Day-2019 was celebrated here today by some institutes.
Amargyan Institute of Computer Science & Technology celebrated this day with a theme ‘Learning to learn for Life & Work’.
Neelanjana Manwati and Naresh Gupta from J&K Skill Development Mission were the chief guest and guest of honour respectively and they interacted with the trainees of Domestic Data Entry Operator and educated them about importance of the skill development.
On this occasion trainees also presented their views and spoke about activities undertaken at the centre. After this prizes were distributed among trainees.
The Amargyan institute team was also present on the occasion.
O.P Gupta, Coordinator of the Institute presented vote of thanks while Director of the Institute, Jatinder Sharma had earlier delivered welcome address.
Meanwhile, Gyan Institute, Dablehar also celebrated World Youth Skill Day and a small function was organised by the PMKVY JKSDM trainees.
Bashir Malik, Administrative Officer, Gyan Institute interacted with the trainees and told them about the importance of skill development in IT/ITES and electronic sector job roles.
The trainees also spoke on the occasion.
Vote of thanks was presented by Shubam Sharma.
