JAMMU, July 22: A youth died today after being hit by a train at Railway Station Jammu.
“Roshan Lal (18) son of Munna Lal, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was crossing the railway tracks when he was hit by a train this morning, a police official said, adding, the victim died on the spot.
He said after getting conducted postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, the body of the deceased was handed over to his family for last rites.
“The deceased was presently residing at Murati Mohalla in Trikuta Nagar area of Jammu”, he said, adding that inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated at police station GRP Jammu under 174 CrPC.
