RAJOURI, May 13: A youth who had stabbed a young girl in a moving vehicle at Rajouri on Tuesday was arrested by police during wee hours today.
A police spokesman said that a policy party led by SI Mohd Jahangir arrested the accused Aamir Manhas, son of Yaqoob, resident of Jawahar Nagar Rajouri from a hide-out in the same locality. He had stabbed 12th class girl student Rozia Kouser (16), daughter of Shamas Din of Trava village. The girl was returning home from school. The youth was teasing girl in auto-rikshaw and when the girl objected he stabbed her. The police has registered case FIR No. 239/2015 against the accused person.
