Youth must fight against corruption, nepotism: Yudhvir Sethi

JAMMU, May 22: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Vice President Yudhvir Sethi today said that youth being the backbone of society must act like responsive citizens and fight against corruption and nepotism to ensure a clean and responsive administration. The youth who comprise of sixty percent population must also bring in stability in their endeavours including politics to achieve their desired goals to serve people in different capacities.
Yudhvir Sethi was addressing a meeting of District Executive Committee of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at Udhampur organised by State Vice President and Prabhari Ajay Vaid wherein he said that programmes and policies planned by Government or announcements made by senior party colleagues viz-a-viz state’s or country’s welfare must be percolated down to the grass root level by young brigade. The state needs good leadership and it’s because of consistency in their enterprise that youth will be able to fill that gap, he added.
Encouraging nationalist forces to come on the forefront, Yudhvir Sethi said our society needs unity in diversity for which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is putting in his best efforts. Unlike past where Congress had been exploiting sentiments of backward classes, Scheduled Classes or Scheduled Tribe people BJP intends to take every section of society along in making India a strong nation where each one of us get opportunities to progress and prosper while putting in use every available opportunity.
Manish Sharma, Vice Chairman JAKFED said that youth being the backbone must help these programme reach commoners so that socio-economic development of the State for which massive funds are being released to build infrastructure is achieved. He said that massive tourism related projects like multi-tier parking at Jammu Bus Stand, City Chowk and behind Super Bazar, Artificial Lake project, Maharaja Hari Singh Park and three Ropeway Projects are going on in the region which once inaugurate will augment tourism potential of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ajay Vaid in his address said that party workers must work on the theory of ‘One Booth Ten Youth’ and strengthen party at all levels. He state asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has special place in his heart for people of Jammu and Kashmir and this was the reason central government was spending liberally in our State.
