Youth Leadership Training Prog concludes

KATHUA, Jan 18: Eight day long Youth Leadership Training Programme (YLTP) hosted by the Art of Living Kathua Chapter under the guidance of Art of Living faculty Swami Ashok ji and Rajesh Kumar from Himachal concluded at BEd College Janglot, Patyari.
In the programme, more than 20 youth in the age group of 18 to 40 years participated. This program included happiness program and other trainings to make youth strong both physically and mentally to face the challenges of the complex world. This is a life transforming course which develops youth as leaders in every field of life. It helps them to become more responsible citizen and better human beings. At the last day of the course certificates are distributed among them which help them to secure jobs.
The participants hoped that such workshops will be conduct in future also. Some of them also shared their views and informed about the positive effects of this training course.
Designed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the YLTP comprised of breathing techniques and meditation with leadership skills and human values training. The youth were also trained in physical and mental fitness, personality development, leadership and communication skills, and public speaking. Participants are inspired to volunteer for rural projects, and the fruits of the seeds sown in the classroom can be experienced by the community as a whole.
On the concluding day while discussing about the course one of the AoL faculty said that this course will make them physically strong, mentally alert and morally responsible individuals who are ready to cross all their comfort zones and become role models for others. The participants become instruments of spreading happiness and spirituality in the society. With this course they also become Sri Sri Yoga teachers, he added.
