KATHUA, June 9: A youth was killed after the motor cycle on which he was traveling from Jammu towards Gurdaspur, Punjab was hit by a bus bearing registration number JK02AC1599 at Logat near here today.
He was identified as Mini Kumar, 32, son of Tralok Raj of Gurdaspur Punjab. The driver of the bus fled from the spot after the accident. Kathua police has registered a case under Section 237/304 and seized the bus. The dead body has been kept in D H Kathua for postmortem.
