JAMMU, Jan 23: A youth was held for mobile snatching attempt near Khalsa Chowk, Nanak Nagar, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar police station.
As per police sources, a youth identified as Tushar of Nanak Nagar snatched a costly mobile phone of a girl near Khalsa Chowk, Nanak Nagar.
The girl raised alarm and the locals apprehended the youth and also informed the police.
On getting information, police team from Gandhi Nagar police station rushed to the spot and arrested the youth.
The mobile phone was restored to the girl.
Police has taken the cognizance of the incident.
