JAMMU, Feb 26: A 26-year-old youth was today found hanging at his residence in Nowabad area.
According to a police official, the youth identified as Manish (26) son of Chuni Lal, resident of Jewel, was found hanging this morning with the hook of the ceiling fan, this morning. He said the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after completing postmortem, it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
“In this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated at police station Nowabad”, he said, adding, the deceased youth used to run a shop of readymade garments near his residence.
