JAMMU, May 24: A youth was found hanging this evening in Chatha area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, Lakhvinder Singh (24) son of Mohinder Singh, resident of Govind Pura (Chatha) was found hanging at his residence this evening by his brother Ranjit Singh, who immediately rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection by the concerned police,” the official added.
