JAMMU, Mar 28: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the back side of Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College ground, falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad police station.
As per police sources, 25-year-old Amit Kotwal, son of Satpal Kotwal of Kotwal Mohallah, Kishtwar, presently residing at Talab Tillo was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the back side of GGM Science College ground.
On getting information, police team from Nowabad police station rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after conducting postmortem, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Nowabad police station and investigation started.
