KATRA, Jan 3: In a bizarre incident, an unidentified youth ended his life after repeatedly striking his head with a wall near Ban Ganga Langer, here today.
Reports said that the youth, who appeared to be a Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim, suddenly started striking his head with a wall on the track. On being informed, Policemen rushed to the spot and shifted the profusely bleeding youth to nearby hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
Identity of the deceased was not ascertained till filing of this report.
Meanwhile, a young man died after he accidentally fell in a deep gorge at Chalad in Reasi.
The deceased, identified as Gyas Din (40), son of Ali Mohd of Chalad, was way to home from Juda, where he had gone for some shopping.
