SAMBA, Mar 5: A youth died after consuming poison at his residence at Vijaypur late last night. He has been identified as Naresh Atri, 27, son of Tilak Raj of Vijaypur.
He was shifted by family to Government Medical College and Hospital at 12:30 PM today where he breathed his last at 2:30 PM. The Vijaypur Police has taken cognizance of the case.
Meanwhile, a dead body was found near Bari Brahmana Railway Station today which was hit by an unknown train at 1000 hrs.
He has been identified as Madan Lal, 45, S/o Bhagwan Dass of Meen Charkan Bari Brahmana.
His dead body was shifted to mortuary of GMC Jammu for postmortem and GRP Railways has taken the cognizance of the same.
