Srinagar, July 4: Police today said a 23 year-old youth died after getting electrocuted in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said the youth identified as Mohammad Amin Bhat, resident of Botingoo village of Sopore, received electric shock while repairing a water pump at Botingoo, resulting in his on spot death.
“After completing legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites,” the spokesman added.
