REASI, Sept 13: A youth drowned while taking bath in river Ans at Sunchal Gali, here this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as 24 years old Sher Khan, son of Haji Nazir of Dharmari. He was taking bath in the river when he slipped into deep water.
Even as several locals rushed to the spot, it took a few minutes to take the youth out of the water. He was rushed to PHC Dharmari and view of his critical condition, doctors referred him to district Hospital Reasi where he was declared as brought dead.
