RAJOURI, July 14: A youth was drowned in a river in Nowshera area of district Rajouri last evening.
A police spokesman said that one Bunty Kumar, son of Balraj, resident of Hanjna village went to take bath in nearby Nowshera river and slipped into deep water. As he did not return till late, the family members started his search.
Later, his clothes were found lying at the bank of river bank near a `Dub’ (deep water). The locals with the help of police managed to fish out his dead body today. The police has started investigation in this connection.
