JAMMU, Aug 30: A 22-year-old boy, who was found unconscious at a house in Trikuta Nagar area, died today at Government Medical College and Hospital.
“Shubham Singh Jamwal son of Bishan Singh Jamwal, resident of Trikuta Nagar was found in unconscious condition at residence of one of his friends in Sector No 2, Trikuta Nagar on August 26”, a police official said.
He said the boy died today at about 5.15 AM and after postmortem his body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while investigations into the case is going on. “However, prima facie it appears that the boy died of drug overdose as he was a drug addict”, the official added.
