JAMMU, July 19: The dead body of a youth was found today from a canal at Dashmesh Nagar in Digiana area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of an unknown youth was spotted by some locals in a canal at Dashmesh Nagar near Gurudwara, this morning. They informed the police which reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for conducting post mortem tomorrow.
Later, the body was identified as Jagmohan Singh (20-25) son of Prem Singh, a resident of Roop Nagar, Digiana.
The concerned police has registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
