POONCH, May 14: A youth died in an incident of lightning and thunder storm in Saujian area of Mandi this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that 20-year-old Shabir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohammed, resident of Chhamber hamlet in Saujian area of Mandi was hit by a strong beam of light from the sky during thunder storm. He was rushed to Mandi hospital where doctors declared him as dead. The boy was returning home when the incident took place.
