RAJOURI, May 17: A tragic road accident took place at Khalsa Chowk near Dhangri in Rajouri district on Saturday, resulting in the death of a young man.
The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Mohd Haseeb, son of Abdul Haq, resident of Goder Potha, in Rajouri.
According to reports, the accident occurred near Khalsa Chowk, following which the injured was immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for treatment. However, doctors at the hospital, declared him as `brought dead’.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated the necessary legal proceedings to ascertain the cause of the accident.
