KATHUA, Apr 6: A youth who had consumed some poisonous substance at his in-law’s residence two days back breathed his last at District Hospital Kathua this morning where he was undergoing treatment.
According to police Parveen Kumar, S/o Lt Dewan Chand who had some strained relations with his wife for quite sometime had gone to his in-laws residence in village Daralna falling under the jurisdiction of Nagri Parole Police Post few days back where his wife was putting up for two and a half years now asking her to return to her home.
As the wife refused to return and the controversy did not die down the husband in the fit of rage consumed some poisonous substance. He was taken to district hospital Kathua where he died early this morning. The Nagri Police has registered a case under RPC 174 and started investigation.
