KATHUA, Jan 18: A youth was killed while two others seriously injured after a motor-cycle and a scooty collided at Lakhanpur late this evening.
As police spokesman said that the mishap took place at around 9 pm near Toll Palaza at Lakhanpur. Both the two- wheelers collided with great force, resulting into the death of one of the youths on the spot. Two seriously injured persons were rushed to district hospital Kathua and later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The body was also removed to the mortuary of DH Kathua.
The deceased was later identified by police as one Nishi Dosh (19), son of Kundan Lal, resident of Shiv Nagar ( Ward 16), Kathua. Two injured persons were identified as Abhishek Singh (16), son of Rakesh Kumar and minor Avinash, Son of Ravi, resident of Shiv Nagar, Kathua. Their condition was said to serious. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
